College Basketball Betting Trends
The Bruins are 5-1-1 against the spread in their last seven games following a win and 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games overall.
The Terrapins are just 1-6 against the spread in their last 7 NCAA Tournament games and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 neutral site games.
We’ve seen in the past that the First Four teams aren’t immune to success. VCU made a run to the Final Four after winning a First Four game. Belmont looks to be a legit team. The Bruins can score in droves and that is always dangerous this time of year. There is no defense for hot shooting. Maryland can’t afford to get into a shootout with Belmont and the Terps are really struggling on offense lately. I just don’t think they have the ability to slow down Belmont enough in this game. I like the Bruins to continue to shoot well and pull off the upset.
