Butler vs. Notre Dame Odds

Notre Dame is 30-5 on the season, 6-1 on a neutral floor and 15-12 against the spread. Butler is 23-10 on the season, 3-3 on a neutral court and 18-13 against the spread. Butler is coming off a 56-48 win over Texas on Thursday to reach the third round. Notre Dame had its hands full with Northeastern on Thursday, but picked up a 69-65 win to advance. These two last met in 2006 with Butler getting a 71-69 home victory.
According to the latest sportsbooks, Notre Dame is the slight favorite in this game, as the Fighting Irish are getting odds of -4.5 points against Butler. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 133.5 points. This game will be played from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.
Butler has went just 5-4 in its last nine games coming into today, but the Bulldogs are 4-2 against the spread in their last six while hitting the under in eight straight games. Notre Dame is now riding a six-game winning streak with the win over Northeastern. The Irish have also been strong against the spread as of late, going 7-2 ATS in their last nine. ND has also trended with the under, like Butler, as it has hit it in five of its last seven games.
