Kansas went 24-9 this season and won the Big 12 regular season title. Eastern Kentucky was 24-9 overall and won the Ohio Valley Championship. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Kansas is the clear favorite in this game, as the Jayhawks have odds of -14 points against Eastern Kentucky. The over/under total for the game has been set at 150.5 points (View Matchup). These two have no recent meetings.

Kansas went an even 16-16-1 against the spread this season and hit the over 19 times. Despite the strong season, Kansas went just 2-3 in its last five and is without center Joel Embiid for at least this weekend. The Jayhawks are 20^th in the country in scoring at 79.6 points per game and they are sixth nationally in shooting, making 49.5 percent of their shots. Defensively, Kansas is suspect, allowing 70.5 points per game. Freshman Andrew Wiggins is leading the Jayhawks, as he is averaging 17.4 points and 6.0 rebounds per game this season.

The Colonels have won their last seven games entering the NCAA Tournament and they rank 26^th in the nation in scoring at 79 points per game.
