Creighton Bluejays Notes

Head coach Greg McDermott said Saturday that he doesn't think Mason Miller (ankle) will practice and that he's still unsure of when Miller will return to action, Joel Lorenzi of the Omaha World-Herald reports. Miller sustained what appeared to be a serious ankle injury in Saturday's first-round win over N.C. State, however, imaging on his ankle came back negative. Still, it appears it will be a longshot for Miller to play Sunday against Baylor. His absence will certainly test the depth of the Blue Jays, as coach McDermott usually does not dig far into his bench for playing minutes.

Baylor Bears Notes

Langston Love (eye) has checked into Friday's matchup with UCSB, Michael Haag of Lariat Sports reports. Love, who was questionable to suit up against the Gauchos, has checked in with just over 10 minutes left in the first half. The 6-foot-5 freshman has appeared in 29 games this season, averaging 6.6 points and 2.2 rebounds on 17 minutes per game. Love and the Bears will look to make quick work of UCSB and advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
