Michigan vs. Notre Dame Pick
Two rival schools meet up in the NCAA Tournament tonight as No. 11 Michigan faces No. 6 Notre Dame at 9:40PM ET.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Notre Dame is the slight favorite in this game, as the Irish are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Wolverines. The over/under total for the game is listed at 144 points. These two meet in the second round of the East Region from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Michigan is 23-12 on the season, 6-2 on a neutral floor and 17-16 against the spread. Notre Dame is 21-11 overall, 2-4 on a neutral court and 14-15-1 against the spread. ND earned an at-large bid through the ACC while Michigan was an at-large pick out of the Big Ten. The Wolverines had a 67-62 win over Tulsa in the First Four on Wednesday.
Michigan is a team that loses big when it does lose, as all of their defeats have been by double digits. Similar to last weekend after an emotional win over Indiana, the Wolverines were flat in their next game against Purdue. Coming of the hard-fought win over Tulsa and the travel since then, Michigan isn’t likely to be fresh against Notre Dame. The Wolverines are also just 2-6 against the spread in their last 8 after a win while Notre Dame is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 against Big Ten opponents. Look for the Irish to win and win big.
