Gonzaga advanced to the tournament by winning the West Coast Conference Tournament while Seton Hall emerged as the Big East Tournament winner.
Gonzaga has had a nice rally the second half of the season to keep its string of tournament appearances alive. However, Seton Hall is one of the hottest teams in the nation, winning eight of their last nine, including a win over Villanova in the Big East Championship. The Pirates are covering as well, as they have the most covers (23) of anyone in the nation. Seton Hall is also 21-6 ATS in its last 27 non-conference games. The Pirates will have a matchup issue with Gonzaga’s bigs, but the Bulldogs will have a major matchup issue with the Pirates’ guards, especially Isaiah Whitehead. Gonzaga is 0-7-1 ATS in its last 8 non-conference and going to face a Seton Hall team with a chip on its shoulder for being an underdog in this game. Ride the Pirates.
