Simeon Fryer produced six points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal over 34 minutes during Tuesday's 75-71 win over Southeast Missouri State. Fryer's latest start was his first since February. Despite a late lineup switch in Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's biggest game of the season to date, it paved off, as Fryer was a crucial rebounder for the now-No. 16 team. It is unknown whether he will keep his role Thursday, when TACC will face title contenders Alabama in both teams' first-round game of the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

Jahvon Quinerly chipped in one point (0-9 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and seven assists across 31 minutes during Saturday's 72-61 win over Missouri. Quinerly has been used sparingly after suffering a torn ACL in last year's NCAA Tournament, but things are ramping up quickly for the senior point guard. He averaged 32.2 mpg in the last three games before the SEC tournament and has now started back-to-back games. While the shots didn't fall in Saturday's semifinal victory, Quinerly is a still a player with a skyrocketing stock who will be a pivotal factor in any prospective Alabama tournament run.
