Minnesota went to overtime with Penn State and won as an underdog on Thursday. Last night, the Golden Gophers upset Purdue, 75-73. The 7th-seeded Gophers have won and covered in four of their last five games. Defensively, the Gophers give up just 69 points per game while holding opponents to 43.2 percent shooting. Amir Coffey is leading the team with 16.4 points per game while Jordan Murphy is averaging 14.9 points and 11.6 rebounds per contest.

College Basketball Betting Trends
Minnesota
The Golden Gophers are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven following a win and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games.
Michigan
The Wolverines are 38-16-1 ATS in their last 55 Big Ten games and 39-18-4 ATS in their last 61 neutral site games.
Prediction:
Michigan won both meetings with Minnesota this season, covering in the road win while failing to cover in a 59-57 win at home on Jan. 22. Minnesota managed to catch Purdue off guard on Friday, but I think Michigan will be more than ready for the Gophers today. The Wolverines play at another level in this tournament and you saw it yesterday against Iowa. Michigan’s defense should give Minnesota problems and the Wolverines just seem to heat up on offense this time of year.
College Basketball Prediction: Michigan -9.5
