Who Oddsmakers Like: Creighton. According to oddsmakers at YouWager, the Bluejays are the slim favorite in this game, as Creighton is getting odds of -1 point against Kansas State. The spread opened with Creighton as a 2.5-point favorite, but has been dropping throughout the week. The over/under total sits at 144 points after it opened at 145.5 points.
Public Betting Predictions: Creighton. As of Friday morning, the Bluejays are getting 53 percent of the wagers for this near even game against Kansas State tonight.
Injury Report: Kansas State has some big names on the injury report as top scorers Dean Wade and Barry Brown are listed. Wade is questionable due to a foot injury while Brown is probable while dealing with an eye issue. These two combine for 32.5 points, 9.4 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 3.4 steals per game.
Who We Like: Creighton hasn’t come into this tournament looking great, but the Big East has been a tough conference to navigate this season. Not to say the Big 12 isn’t either, but the Big East is the tougher road in my opinion. I think the Bluejays will look strong by stepping out of Big East play, where it can use its offensive ability to run past teams. Kansas State is a defensive-led team, but the Wildcats aren’t a team that can get into a track meet on offense. I think Creighton has too strong of shooting for the Wildcats to hold them in check. The injury issues wont help Kansas State either.
KANSAS STATE VS. CREIGHTON MARCH MADNESS PREDICTION: CREIGHTON -1
