According to oddsmakers at, Florida is the slight favorite in this game, as the Gators are getting odds of -3 points against Arkansas. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 135 points. The public betting currently has 74 percent going on Florida as the favorite today. Razorbacks on a win streak

Arkansas is the No. 9 seed in this week’s tournament and the Razorbacks are riding a 3-game win streak right now following an 82-70 win over Alabama. Arkansas is 17-14 on the season, 8-10 in SEC play, 1-1 on a neutral floor, 14-17 against the spread and 22-9 with the under.

The Razorbacks have been able to score this season, putting up 76.3 points per game while shooting 44.9 percent as a team. Defensively, Arkansas is giving up 72.8 points per game while opponents shoot 42.6 percent against them. Daniel Gafford is leading the team with 17.0 points and 8.7 rebounds per game while Isaiah Joe is adding 14.0 points per contest.

Gators on a losing skid

Florida is the No. 8 seed in the SEC Tournament this weekend, but the Gators have lost three straight following a 66-57 road loss against Kentucky last weekend. Florida is 17-14 on the season, 9-9 in SEC games, 3-2 on a neutral floor, 13-18 against the spread and 21-10 with the under.

The Gators have been about defense this season, allowing just 63.7 points per game while holding opponents to 42.2 percent shooting. Offensively, Florida is averaging 68.3 points per game while shooting 42.3 percent as a team. KeVaughn Allen has been the team leader with 11.9 points per game while Noah Locke is adding 10.2 per contest.

College Basketball Betting Trends

The Razorbacks are 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 SEC games and 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight Thursday games.

The Gators are 4-9 against the spread in their last 13 SEC games and 1-5 ATS in their last six after a loss.

Florida was able to win the lone meetings this season, 57-51 at Arkansas on Jan. 9. The Gators have also covered in five of their last six against the Razorbacks. While Arkansas is on a nice run, the wins are against the bottom of the SEC. Arkansas relies on offense a lot and I think that will be a problem in this game against a Florida team that is still really strong on defense despite an average record. The Gators were able to go to Kentucky and make things challenge for the Wildcats and I think they are able to handle themselves today against this streaky Arkansas team.

College Basketball Prediction: Florida -3
