Bakersfield went 22-9 this season while putting up an 8-6 record in true road games. The Roadrunners played in just six lined games this season, going only 2-4 against the spread. Bakersfield averaged just 68.8 points per game on offense but allowed only 63.4 on defense. Jaylin Airington is leading the team with 14.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game while Damiyne Durham is averaging 12.6 points per game.
Cal has a really solid defense and that is coming against a Pac-12 schedule. Bakersfield doesn’t have much of an offense and that is against much-less competition. The Roadrunners should really struggle against this Cal defense, which will welcome this challenge at home. Bakersfield is a respectable defense as well, but it hasn’t face a lot of teams like Cal.
