Thursday's Big Ten Tourney Trends
CHICAGO, IL (The Spread) - Here's a look at the betting odds and trends for the four games in the Big Ten Tournament today in Chicago.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Illinois is a 3.5-point favorite over Michigan today at 12:00PM ET and the Wolverines are 8-2 against the spread in the last 10 meetings between these two teams. That said, the favorite is 5-1 at the betting window in the last six meetings.
Iowa is also a 7-point favorite over Penn State in the afternoon game at 2:25PM ET while the over/under is sitting at 131 points for this matchup. The over is a perfect 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams while the favorite is 5-2 against the spread in the last seven meetings.
In the third game Indiana will take on the Northwestern Wildcats at 6:30PM ET and the Hoosiers are currently listed as a 4-point favorite. The Wildcats are an impressive 18-4 against the spread in their last 22 games versus the Hoosiers while the underdog is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings.
Finally, the late game features Minnesota versus Ohio State at 8:55PM ET as the Buckeyes are a 6-point favorite and the total is sitting at 144.5 points. The favorite is 13-3 against the number in the last 16 meetings while the Golden Gophers are just 1-5 ATS in their last six games versus the Buckeyes.
