Duke has now won seven of its last 10 games after beating Clemson, Louisville and North Carolina to advance to the ACC title game tonight. The Blue Devils covered the point spread in all three games as well, beating the Tigers as a 6.5-point favorite, the Cardinals a 2-point underdog, and then rallying to beat hated rival the Tar Heels as a 4-point dog.
The Fighting Irish have been on a roll of late as well, winning eight of their last 10 games, which includes victories over Virginia 71-58 as a 3.5-point favorite in their first tournament game, as well as Florida State 77-73 as a 1.5-point underdog on Friday night to advance to the finals. Notre Dame has also covered the spread in four straight games and is now 8-2 against the number in its last 10.
OUR PREDICTION: This is the Duke team that a lot of fans had been waiting to see all season. The Blue Devils are definitely firing on all cylinders and peaking at the right time, which is right before the NCAA tournament. They've played one extra game in this tournament than the Irish, but the Blue Devils are also a bit of a buzz saw right now, too. They're 5-1 against the spread in their last six neutral site games, are 3-0-1 against the number in their last four conference games and are 5-2-1 against the number in their last eight games versus an opponent with a winning percentage above .600.
