Big West Tournament Odds
ANAHEIM, CA (TheSpread) – Eight teams, seven of which are from California, will contend for the Big West Conference Tournament title this week. Here’s a look at the odds to win.
The 2015 Big West Conference Tournament is an 8-team event that has a standard format other than they re-seed the bracket in the semifinals. There are four quarterfinal games on Thursday and the championship is on Saturday. All games will be held from the Honda Center in Anaheim.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, UC-Irvine is favored to win this tournament, as it has 5/2 odds to prevail. Other short odds to win are UC-Santa Barbara (11/4) and UC-Davis (3/1).
UC-Irvine is the second seed this week. It went 18-12 on the season and 11-5 in conference play. UC-Irvine has never won this tournament.
UC-Santa Barbara is the third seed this week. It went 18-12 on the season and 11-5 in conference play. Santa Barbara has won this tournament three times, last doing so in 2011.
UC-Davis is the top seed in the tournament. It was 24-5 during the season and 14-2 in conference play. UC-Davis has never won this tournament.
