2015 AAC Tournament Odds
HARTFORD, CT (TheSpread) – There are some legit NCAA Tournament contenders that will compete in the American Athletic Conference Tournament this week. Here’s a look at the odds to win.
The 2015 AAC Tournament is an 11-team tournament in standard format with three opening-round games and five teams getting a bye into the quarterfinals. The tournament gets started Thursday and the finals take place on Sunday. All games are being played from the XL Center in Hartford. This tournament is in just its second year of existence with Louisville (now in the ACC) winning last year.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, SMU is favored to win this tournament, as it is getting odds of 8/5 to win. Other short odds to win are Connecticut (5/2) and Cincinnati (13/4).
SMU is the top seed in this tournament after going 24-6 on the season and 15-3 in the AAC.
Connecticut is the sixth seed this week. It went just 17-13 on the season and 10-8 in conference play.
Cincinnati is the third seed in this tournament. It went 22-9 on the season and 13-5 in AAC play.
