MISSOULA, MT (TheSpread) – The 8-team Big Sky Tournament will tip off on Thursday. Here is a look at the odds to emerge as the winner this year.
The 2015 Big Sky Tournament is a standard 8-team tournament with quarterfinal play on Thursday and the championship on Saturday. All games will be held from the Dahlberg Arena in Missoula, Montana.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Montana is the favorite to win this week, as it has 11/10 odds. Eastern Washington comes in with 11/5 odds to win while Northern Arizona and Sacramento State each have 8/1 odds.
Montana is the top seed after going 18-11 in the season and 14-4 in conference play. Montana has won this tournament nine times, tied for most of any team. It last won in 2013.
Eastern Washington is the No. 2 seed. It went 23-8 this season and 14-4 in conference play. Eastern Washington won this tournament one time, which was back in 2004.
Northern Arizona is the fourth seed this weekend. It went 18-13 in the regular season and 13-5 in conference play. Northern Arizona is a two-time winner of this tournament, last claiming the title in 2000.
Sacramento State is the third seed in this tournament. It went 19-10 during the season and 13-5 in conference play. Sacramento State has never won this tournament.
