This Tournament is a 12-team single elimination tournament where the top four teams have a bye into the quarterfinals. Each game is played at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C., and the tournament runs from March 14-17. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Duke is the favorite to win this tournament, as it has 5/6 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Miami (2/1), North Carolina (4/1) and N.C. State (4/1).
Duke is the No. 2 seed in the tournament after going 14-4 in the ACC and 27-4 overall. Duke has won this tournament 19 times, most of any ACC team. The Blue Devils last won in 2011.
Miami is the top seed as it won the regular season title with a 15-3 ACC record and 24-6 mark overall. Miami has never won this tournament since joining the conference in 2004.
North Carolina is 22-9 overall and 12-6 in the ACC. The Tar Heels will be the No. 3 seed in this tournament. UNC has won this tournament 17 times, last winning in 2008.
N.C. State is the No. 5 seed after going 11-7 in the ACC and 22-9 overall. The Wolfpack have won this tournament 10 times, with the last championship coming in 1987.
