Washington vs. Oregon Prediction
After steamrolling Stanford in the opening round of the Pac-12 tournament on Wednesday, can Washington pull off a second-round upset of Oregon today?
After crushing the Cardinal 91-68 as a 3-point favorite, the Huskies are 7.5-point underdogs versus the Ducks today according to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv. Both of these teams have covered in six of their last 10 games.
The last time these two teams faced, Oregon dominated inside after outscoring Washington 44-26 in the paint and out-rebounding the Huskies 40-26 last month. In that game, the Ducks shot 53.7 percent while holding their conference rivals to a mark of just 39.3.
But Washington is a different team now. The Huskies are playing with more confidence after Dejounte Murray finished with 25 points in Wednesday's victory over STanford. Marquese Chriss also scored 18 points and added 10 rebounds while Andrew Andrews produced 14 points, nine boards and nine assists.
Washington is the Pac-12's youngest team and seems to be finding itself at the right time. The Huskies have covered in five of their last six games versus the Ducks while the underdog has cashed in eight of the last 10 meetings between these two teams.
