TCU vs. West Virginia Prediction
After pulling off an outright upset over Texas Tech last night, TCU will try its hand as a big underdog tonight when it takes on West Virginia.
After opening as a 14.5-point favorite, the Mountaineers are now -15 to beat the Horned Frogs in tonight's Big 12 tournament matchup at 7:00PM ET. According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the over/under is sitting at 141 points.
Tonight should be a relatively low-scoring game for bettors. The under is 4-0 in the Mountaineers' last four games played at neutral sites and is also 4-0 in the Horned Frogs' last four games on neutral court. The under is also 13-5 in TCU's last 18 games overall, 12-5 in the team's last 17 Big 12 games, and has hit in four of the Horned Frogs' last five games following a win.
In what figures to be a lopsided contest, bettors aren't going to receive enough points from TCU to push the score over the total. And while West Virginia will score plenty, the Mountaineers may take their foot off the gas in the second half, leading to an 'under' win for bettors.
