Colorado vs. Arizona Prediction
Using the momentum created on Wednesday in a blowout win over Washington State, Colorado will look to keep pace with Arizona at 5:30PM ET.
Sean Miller's Wildcats opened as a 7-point favorite over the Buffaloes but according to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the line has been bought up to Arizona -7.5. As for the total, the number currently sits at 141 points.
Public bettors pretty much split on which team will cover this evening
Colorado won the only meeting with Arizona this season, beating the Wildcats 75-72 on February 24. That was the game where Miller suggested that one of his players might be prompted to retaliate with a punch in self-defense after Colorado fans stormed the Coors Events Center floor following the win.
Miller and Co. won't have the same court-storming issues tonight but they could have issues with Josh Scott, who was dominant against Arizona two weeks ago. Limited to just six points on 3-of-8 shooting against the Cougars on Wednesday, he still made an impact with a career-high five assists. Josh Fortune is coming off a strong shooting performance so if Scott can find his scoring touch then Colorado shouldn't have problems keeping the score within 7.5.
