According to oddsmakers, the Wolverines are a 17-point favorite on the spread line. The total sits at 148 points. As of Thursday morning, 73 percent of public bets are coming in on visiting Nebraska. Check out our College Basketball Public Betting Page for the latest info.

Cornhuskers drop 14th straight

Nebraska lost 81-76 at home in overtime Sunday afternoon to Northwestern to drop to 7-22 overall and 2-16 in Big Ten Conference action. The Cornhuskers outscored the Wildcats 33-30 in the second half, but were then outscored 14-9 in the extra session. Haanif Cheatham paced Nebraska with 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting including 3-of-5 from 3-point distance plus 3-of-7 at the free throw line. He also accumulated three rebounds, three assists and three steals. Dachon Burke Jr. accounted for 19 points, five steals and two dimes. Cam Mack contributed 13 points, seven assists, two boards and two steals. Yvan Ouedraogo added 11 points, 19 caroms and two steals.

Wolverines drop second straight

Michigan lost 77-63 Sunday afternoon at Ohio State to fall to 18-11 overall and 9-9 in conference play. The Wolverines were outscored 45-34 in the second half of the defeat. Franz Wagner paced U-M with 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting including 4-of-8 from 3-point range. He also recorded 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals. Zavier Simpson added 12 points, seven dimes and five boards.

College Basketball Betting Trends

The road team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings. The underdog is 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings.

The Wolverines are 5-2 ATS in their last seven meetings. The over is 4-1 in the last five Michigan games.

The Cornhuskers lost 79-68 at home versus the Wolverines and are finishing up a miserable regular season this week. This is a huge spread, however, and Michigan has a big look-ahead game on deck this weekend at Maryland. The Wolverines have not been up to par in the last couple games and while I certainly see a win in the cards here, I don't think it will be one-sided enough to cover the huge spread.
