According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Bears are 2.5-point home favorites over the Mountaineers after opening as a 2-point fave. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 149 points.

West Virginia has won four straight games and owns the Big 12's best defense. The Mountaineers are limiting opponents to just 66.4 points per game and while the Bears are the NCAA's only team without a loss outside of the RPI top 40, they're also 0-4 against top-10 teams with losses to Oklahoma and Kansas. They've also lost four of six at home after opening the season 12-0 at Ferrell Center.

Baylor has failed to cover the spread in six of its last seven home games as well, while West Virginia has an impressive mark of 11-4 ATS in its last 15 conference games. The Mountaineers are also 11-5 against the spread in their last 16 games overall and have covered the number ins even of their last 10 games coming off a win. They're a good value buy getting points today, even on the road.
