Wolverines fall to Badgers

Michigan lost 81-74 Thursday night at home against Wisconsin to drop to 18-10 overall and 11-6 in Big Ten Conference action. The Wolverines trailed 43-33 at halftime and were unable to recover after the break. Zavier Simpson poured in 32 points to lead Michigan on 14-of-22 shooting including 1-of-1 from 3-point distance plus 3-of-7 at the free throw line. He also registered six assists and five rebounds. Franz Wagner added 17 points and seven boards.

Buckeyes roll past Cornhuskers

Ohio State raced to a 75-54 road win Thursday night at Nebraska to move to 19-9 overall and 9-8 in conference action. The Buckeyes led 43-27 at halftime on their way to the victory. Kaleb Wesson paced OSU with 16 points on 3-of-10 shooting plus 10-of-13 at the free throw line. He also ripped down 18 rebounds. C.J. Walker accounted for 15 points, five boards and three assists. College Basketball Betting Trends

The road team is 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings. The Wolverines are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games.

Ohio State

The Buckeyes are 6-0 ATS in their last six games as a favorite. Ohio State is 2-7 ATS in its last nine Sunday games.

The Buckeyes will be going for the season sweep today after winning 61-58 last month in Ann Arbor. While Michigan has played fantastic basketball as of late, it finally hit a stumbling block three days ago and is facing a team that has only lost twice at home this season. The Buckeyes will certainly be up for this game and if they can do what they did to the Wolverines on the road, I see them doing it again at home especially in a series where the home team has had a lot of success lately.
