According to oddsmakers at YouWager, Duke is favored on the road, as the Blue Devils are getting odds of -5.5 points against Virginia Tech. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 156 points. Today’s game takes place from Cassell Coliseum in Blacksburg, Virginia and will air live on ESPN.

Duke has won five straight coming into tonight, including a 60-44 win at home over Syracuse. The Blue Devils have managed to cover the spread in all five wins as well. Duke is 24-5 overall, 12-4 in the ACC and 18-9 against the spread. The Blue Devils put up 86.2 points per game this season while allowing 69.8 per contest. Marvin Bagley III just returned from injury. He is averaging 21.1 points and 11.2 rebounds per game this season while Wendell Carter Jr. is adding 14.6 points and 9.6 rebounds per game.

Virginia Tech is coming off a 75-68 loss at home to Louisville this weekend. The Hokies are 20-9 overall, 9-7 in the ACC and 15-10 against the spread. Justin Robinson is averaging 13.8 points and 5.5 assists per game to lead the team while Justin Bibbs is adding 13.2 points per game for the Hokies.

The Hokies are a tough team at home, but the Blue Devils seem to be hitting their stride right now. The Hokies just suffered a loss at home to Louisville, so they have shown they can struggle on their own floor. The public betting is strongly behind Duke as well.
