Wildcats win sixth straight

Kentucky secured a 65-59 home win Saturday night over Florida to improve to 22-5 overall and 12-2 in conference action. The Wildcats outscored the Gators 34-28 in the second half after it went into the break tied. Immanuel Quickley led Kentucky with 26 points on 8-of-17 shooting including 4-of-6 from 3-point distance plus 6-of-6 at the free throw line. He also accounted for three steals and two rebounds. Tyrese Maxey added 13 points, seven boards, seven assists and two steals.

Aggies race past Bulldogs

Texas A&M picked up an 87-75 home victory Saturday over Mississippi State to move to 14-12 overall and 8-6 in the SEC. The Aggies outscored the Bulldogs 51-45 in the second half to put it away. Josh Nebo paced Texas A&M with 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting plus 5-of-5 at the charity stripe. He also recorded two steals and two blocked shots. Wendell Mitchell had 20 points, three assists and three steals. Quenton Jackson tallied 18 points, four rebounds, four steals and three dimes. Savion Flagg accounted for 15 points, 10 boards and two assists. Emanuel Miller added 10 points, three caroms and three assists.

College Basketball Betting Trends

The Wildcats are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall. Kentucky is 4-1 ATS in their last five Tuesday games.

Texas A&M

The Aggies are 5-0 ATS in their last five Tuesday games. Texas A&M is 12-4 ATS in its last 16 games as an underdog.

The Wildcats have fared well on the road lately, winning their last three games including two by at least 13 points. While the Aggies have played well lately, those victories all came against teams outside the top 50. The last time Texas A&M faced a solid squad at home, it lost 78-61 against Florida four games ago. Considering Kentucky is another class above the Gators, I'm taking the favorites to get it done tonight and cover the spread.
