Bulls looking to cover
South Florida is coming off a 95-54 win over Florida College in a non-lined game on Tuesday. The Bulls have failed to cover in three straight lined games coming into today. USF is 18-8 overall, 7-6 in the AAC, 3-4 on the road, 16-9 against the spread and 13-11 with the under.
USF is really solid on defense, allowing just 65.8 points per game while limiting opponents to 41 percent shooting. Offensively, the Bulls are putting up 73.6 points per game while shooting 43.9 percent as a team. David Collins is leading the team with 15.4 points per game while Alexis Yetna is putting up 12.2 points and 9.9 rebounds per contest.
Houston still rolling
The Cougars have won 10 straight games coming into tonight’s game, including an 85-50 win at Tulane on Monday. Houston has also covered in seven of its last nine games. The Cougars are 25-1 overall, 12-1 in the AAC, 17-0 at home, 17-8-1 against the spread and 15-11 with the under.

Offensively, Houston is putting up 75.4 points per contest while shooting 44.1 percent as a team. College Basketball Betting Trends
South Florida
The Bulls are 10-1 against the spread in their last 11 road games and 15-4 ATS in their last 19 games following a win.
Houston
The Cougars are 20-7-1 against the spread in their last 28 following a win and 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games.
Prediction:
Houston got a 9-point road win at USF on Jan. 19 and the Cougars have covered the spread in four straight games. The spread is big for this one, but the Bulls are on a real skid right now. They have not been able to cover in three straight and their strength is not as strong as Houston’s. Both teams are defensive teams, but the Cougars are the better defense. They are allowing just 59 points per game at home and that should play out well against a USF offense that isn’t overly impressive.
College Basketball Prediction: Houston -13
