The 23rd-ranked Kansas State Wildcats have a one-game lead in the Big 12 Conference standings heading into today's home contest versus the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Can KSU continue to keep pace ahead of two teams sitting one game back?

Cowboys snap five-game skid
Oklahoma State recorded a 68-61 home win Monday night over Texas Christian to improve to 10-16 overall and 3-10 in the Big 12. The Cowboys led 39-30 at halftime en route to the victory. Oklahoma State shot 22-of-58 from the floor, 11-of-25 from 3-point range and 13-of-16 at the free throw line. Thomas Dziagwa paced the Cowboys with 23 points on 8-of-14 shooting including 6-of-11 from 3-point distance plus 1-of-2 at the free throw line. He also registered three rebounds and two assists. Lindy Waters III tallied 14 points, seven boards and four assists. Isaac Likekele added 13 points plus five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Wildcats ease past Mountaineers
Kansas State secured a 65-51 victory Monday night at West Virginia to move to 20-6 overall and 10-3 in conference play. Barry Brown Jr. led the Wildcats with 21 points on 7-of-14 shooting including 1-of-5 from 3-point distance plus 6-of-6 at the free throw line. He also notched four assists, four steals and three rebounds. Xavier Sneed contributed 19 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Dean Wade added 10 points, six boards and two assists. College Basketball Betting Trends
The Cowboys are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games. Oklahoma State is 2-6 ATS in its last eight road games.
The Wildcats are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 Big 12 games. Kansas State is 5-2 ATS in its last seven Saturday games.
I'd actually be more inclined to take Oklahoma State with the points had it not won its last game. But now that it snapped the five-game losing streak, there isn't desperation here to get a win in a lost season. The Wildcats are elite defensively and while they aren't very strong on the offensive end, the Cowboys' biggest weakness is on defense and that should allow Kansas State easy looks all game. Look for Kansas State to continue its strong Big 12 play with a double-digit win here.
