UCLA vs. Arizona State Pick

CBB Predictions: UCLA Bruins vs. Arizona State Sun Devils 2/23/17

Will No. 5 UCLA go on the road and handle its business when it takes on Arizona State tonight at 9PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, UCLA is the clear favorite in the game, as the Bruins are getting odds of -12 points against the Sun Devils. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 177 points. UCLA has won three straight over ASU, including a 102-80 win at home on Jan. 19. The Bruins have covered the spread in six straight over the Sun Devils as well.

Bet on UCLA vs. Arizona State

UCLA is on a five-game winning streak, including a 102-70 win over USC at home this past weekend. The Bruins are now 24-3 on the season and 11-3 in the Pac-12. UCLA is 14-13 against the spread on the season but just 3-6 ATS in its last nine games. UCLA is putting up 92.3 points per game on offense this season while allowing 75.7 on defense. TJ Leaf has been leading the team with 16.7 points and 8.7 rebounds per game while Lonzo Ball is adding 15.4 points, 7.6 assists and 6.1 rebounds per game.

Arizona State has fallen to 13-15 on the season and 6-9 in the Pac-12 following an 86-71 loss at Washington State last weekend. The Sun Devils are still 6-3 ATS in their last nine and sit at 12-13-2 against the spread on the season. ASU is averaging 79.3 points per game on offense this season while allowing 81.6 on defense. At home, they average 85.2 points on offense while giving up 79.5 on defense. Torian Graham is averaging 18.5 points to lead the team while Tra Holder is adding 17.2 points per contest.

Though Arizona State suffered a 22-point loss to UCLA already, I think the Sun Devils can cover tonight. ASU actually has the offensive capability to match UCLA. The Sun Devils only average 5 less per game at home than UCLA does on the road. UCLA has been rolling, winning five straight, but that just means the Bruins should be overlooking the Sun Devils.
