Bruins win fourth in a row
UCLA posted a 69-58 victory Thursday night at Utah to improve to 16-11 overall and 9-5 in conference play. The Bruins led 33-21 at halftime on their way to the triumph. Jules Bernard led UCLA with 16 points off the bench on 6-of-9 shooting including 1-of-2 from 3-point distance plus 3-of-3 at the free throw line. He also notched three rebounds, two assists and two steals. Tyger Campbell added 13 points, four dimes and two boards.
Buffaloes hold off Trojans
Colorado secured a 70-66 win Thursday night at home over USC to move to 21-6 overall and 10-4 in conference action. The Buffaloes outscored the Trojans 44-37 in the second half after trailing by three at the break. McKinley Wright IV paced a balanced Colorado scoring attack with 15 points on 7-of-13 shooting plus 1-of-2 at the free throw line. He also registered seven assists and six rebounds. Tyler Bey accounted for 14 points, 11 boards and three assists. Shane Gatling contributed 13 points in 23 minutes off the bench. College Basketball Betting Trends
UCLA
The underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. The road team is 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings.
Colorado
The Buffaloes are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Four of the last five meetings have gone over the total.
Prediction:
The Bruins are playing some of their best basketball of the season and that includes an impressive 65-52 win at Arizona a couple weeks ago. But a matchup at the Buffaloes looks like it might provide problems this afternoon as the hosts would like to stay atop of the conference standings by themselves and are solid on both ends of the court. I see Colorado taking control early and coasting to a double-digit win.
