Villanova blew a 14-point lead Sunday night in a 71-65 defeat at St. John's to fall to 20-6 overall and 11-2 in the Big East Conference. The Wildcats were outscored 45-28 in the second half of the defeat. Villanova shot 18-of-54 from the floor, 11-of-35 from 3-point range and 18-of-24 at the free throw line. Joe Cremo paced the Wildcats with 14 points off the bench on 4-of-7 shooting from 3-point range plus 2-of-4 at the free throw line. He added four rebounds and two assists. Phil Booth contributed 13 points, three boards and three dimes. Eric Paschall talled 11 points, 14 rebounds and four assists. Saddiq Bey added 11 points, five caroms and two assists.

Georgetown shot 29-of-64 from the field, 7-of-24 from 3-point distance and 10-of-11 at the free throw line. College Basketball Betting Trends

Villanova

The Wildcats are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games versus the Big East. Villanova is 35-16 ATS in its last 51 road games.

Georgetown

The Hoyas are 5-11-1 ATS in their last 17 Big East games. Georgetown is 9-20-1 ATS in its last 30 games overall.

Prediction:

The Wildcats have been a little shaky lately, with losses in two of their last three. A defeat at Marquette is very understandable, but looking awful in the second half against St. John's is out of character. Georgetown is better on the offensive end than defensively, while being at home should help it keep this one close. The Hoyas have lost a lot of close games this season and I think they can keep this one close against a team not on top of its game at the current moment.
