Cardinals hold on at Tigers

Louisville nearly blew the entirety of a seven-point lead in the final 17 seconds Saturday at home versus Clemson, but two shots by the visitors in the closing seconds were off the mark as the Cardinals (18-8, 9-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) held on for a 56-55 victory. Louisville outscored the hosts 37-32 in the second half of the win. The Cardinals shot 19-of-54 from the floor, 6-of-19 from 3-point range and 12-of-14 from the free throw line. Orange fall flat at NC State

College Basketball Betting Trends

The Cardinals are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games. Louisville is 15-5-1 ATS in its last 21 games following an ATS loss.

The Orange are 4-0 ATS in their last four games following an ATS loss. Syracuse is 6-2 ATS in its last eight home games.

With the way Louisville has been playing lately, it is hard to trust on the road especially when the Orange have a tendency to bounce back strong from rough defeats. Syracuse is due for another big home performance and still has a strong defense, so as long as it shoots better than last game it should be in good shape here.
