Bulldogs stumble at home

Butler lost 73-66 at home Saturday against Georgetown to drop to 19-7 overall and 7-6 in conference action. The Bulldogs were outscored 41-35 in the second half of the defeat. Pirates edged at Friars

Seton Hall fell 74-71 Saturday night at Providence to drop to 18-7 overall and 10-3 in the Big East. The Pirates trailed 41-27 at halftime and were unable to rally all the way back. Myles Powell poured in 27 points to lead Seton Hall on 9-of-20 shooting including 4-of-13 from 3-point range plus 5-of-7 at the charity stripe. College Basketball Betting Trends

The underdog is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings. The road team is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings.

Seton Hall

The Pirates are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings. Seton Hall is 2-4 straight up in the last six meetings.

Neither team has played their best basketball over the last few weeks, but with this being a revenge game for Butler after falling 78-70 at home against the Pirates last month it has me interested in the visitors. Butler has shown the ability to beat anyone this season and I think it can take advantage of a slumping Seton Hall squad tonight. The Bulldogs play at one of the slowest paces in the nation and could frustrate the Pirates, who prefer to play fast.
