Seminoles roll at Yellowjackets

Florida State earned a 69-47 victory Saturday at Georgia Tech to move to 20-5 overall and 8-4 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Seminoles led 34-23 at halftime and continued to pad the lead after the break. Devin Vassell led a balanced FSU scoring attack with 11 points off the bench on 4-of-7 shooting including 2-of-3 on 3-point attempts plus 1-of-2 at the free throw line. He also contributed three rebounds and two steals. Christ Koumadje added 10 points, 12 boards and three blocked shots. The Seminoles shot 25-of-64 from the field, 9-of-30 from 3-point range and 10-of-14 at the free throw line.

Clemson edged at Cardinals

The Tigers fell 56-55 at Louisville Saturday afternoon as their two attempts at a game-winner in the closing seconds were unsuccessful. The Tigers were outscored 37-32 in the second half of the defeat, but managed to trim a seven-point deficit down to one in the final 17 seconds. Clemson shot 22-of-57 from the floor, 6-of-13 from 3-point range and 5-of-7 from the free throw line. Elijah Thomas led the Tigers with 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting including 3-of-6 at the free throw line. He also had seven rebounds and two assists. Marcquise Reed tallied 13 points, 12 boards, two assists and two steals. Shelton Mitchell added 12 points and two rebounds.

College Basketball Betting Trends

Florida State

The Seminoles are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall. Florida State is 15-5-1 ATS in its last 21 Tuesday games.

Clemson

The Tigers are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games. Clemson is 6-1 ATS in its last seven games versus the ACC.

Prediction:

If you look at the Florida State winning streak, it has one impressive win in the bunch and that was at home in overtime over Louisville. A 77-68 win over this Clemson team started the streak on Jan. 22, but the Tigers are much better at home and took the Cardinals to the brink over the weekend. This seems like a prime spot for the winning streak to come to an end on a short spread in a hostile environment.
