Dayton vs. St. Joe's Prediction
An intriguing battle in the Atlantic 10 will take place at Michael J. Hagan Arena tonight when St. Joseph’s hosts Dayton at 6:00PM ET.
Our college basketball odds page shows that oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu currently list the Hawks as a 1.5-point favorite for tonight’s game. The total, meanwhile, sits at 143.5 after the number opened at 141.5 and the current public betting information shows that 51% of wagers are currently on the Flyers to cover.
Dayton enters play tonight with a 21-3 record and is 12-10 against the spread, including a 5-1 ATS mark on the road. As for St. Joe’s, the Hawks are 21-4 on the year and a profitable 17-6 at the betting window, including a 6-5 ATS mark at home.
The Flyers haven’t won at Saint Joseph’s in 16 years so while Dayton seeks its longest winning streak in eight seasons tonight, it will have a difficult time beating the Hawks on their home floor.
Making matters more challenging for the Flyers is that Kendall Pllard, one of their impact players, could miss his second straight game with a bone bruise on the outside of his knee. He’s officially day-to-day but even if he plays, the question is how effective will he be?
Dayton is winless at 0-4 against the spread in its last four games versus St. Joseph’s and is 0-4 against the number in its last four road games versus the hawks as well.
