McCullar scored in double digits for the second game in a row, marking his sixth time doing so in the last seven games. The Texas Tech transfer got off to a rather slow scoring start to open Big 12 play this season, though his recent run of success combined with his early season production has boosted him up to a career-high 10.6 points per game. McCullar is also averaging a career-high 7.5 rebounds per game, and he's accumulated eight double-doubles this season.

However, Cisse's overall value will still remain limited so long as he continues to serve a reserve role behind fellow Iowa State big men Kalib Boone and Woody Newton.
