Can Utah stay perfect at home?
SALT LAKE CITY, UT (TheSpread) – No. 10 Utah looks to stay perfect at home on Thursday night when it hosts Stanford at 9PM ET in Pac-12 action.
Utah is 18-4 on the season, 8-2 in the Pac-12, 13-0 at home and 15-5-1 against the spread. Stanford is 16-7 overall, 7-4 in the Pac-12, 4-4 on the road and 11-11-1 against the spread. Stanford has won four of five meetings with Utah since 2012, but the Utes are 3-2 against the spread in those five games. These two have hit the over in three of the five meetings.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Utah is favored at home in this one, as the Utes are getting odds of -11.5 points against Stanford tonight. The over/under total for the game has yet to be set.
Stanford is coming off a win on Sunday over USC, but the Cardinal had lost two straight prior to that. They have failed to cover in three straight, but they are 3-1 in their last four road games. Utah has won two straight and four of its last five. The Utes have also covered in eight of their last 10 while hitting the over in three of their last five.
