Tar Heels race past Wolfpack
North Carolina poured it on at home against rival North Carolina State Tuesday night in a 113-96 home victory. The Tar Heels led 56-40 at halftime and continued to control the action after the break. North Carolina (18-4, 8-1) shot 37-of-66 from the floor, 8-of-21 at the free throw line and 31-of-37 at the free throw line. Luke Maye paced the Tar Heels with 31 points on 10-of-15 shooting including 1-of-4 from 3-point range plus 10-of-10 at the charity stripe. Coby White had 21 points, four assists, two boards and two steals. Cameron Johnson accounted for 17 points, four assists and three steals. College Basketball Betting Trends
The Hurricanes are 7-16 ATS in their last 23 games versus the ACC. Miami is 2-5 ATS in its last seven road games.
The Tar Heels are 5-0 ATS in their last five games. North Carolina is 4-1 ATS in its last five Saturday games.
The Tar Heels have won their last four games by double digits, while the last team to keep it to single digits was Miami when UNC won by an 85-76 score three weeks ago. North Carolina is playing much better basketball now than it was at that point and I think we are in store for another blowout today. The Hurricanes struggle defensively and I can't see them containing the Tar Heels too often here.
