Hawkeyes vs. Hoosiers Prediction
The Indiana Hoosiers snapped a seven-game losing skid last game and now host the 20th-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes tonight. Will Iowa send Indiana back to the losing column despite being small underdogs?

Hawkeyes blow out U-M
Iowa earned a 74-59 home victory Friday night over Michigan to improve to 17-5 overall and 6-5 in Big Ten play. The Hawkeyes raced out to a 42-29 halftime advantage on their way to the win. Iowa shot 26-of-57 from the floor, 6-of-14 on 3-point attempts and 16-of-24 from the free throw line. Luka Garza led the Hawkeyes with 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting including 1-of-3 from 3-point distance plus 2-of-4 at the free throw line. He also recorded eight rebounds and two blocked shots. Joe Wieskamp had 16 points to go with seven boards, five steals and two assists. Ryan Kriener added 15 points and 10 caroms off the bench.
Hoosiers snap skid against MSU
Indiana downed previously sixth-ranked Michigan State on the road Saturday night by a count of 79-75 in overtime to snap a seven-game losing streak. The Hoosiers (13-9, 4-7) outscored the Spartans 38-35 in the second half and 13-9 in overtime to notch the win. Indiana shot 28-of-72 from the floor, 10-of-20 from 3-point range and 13-of-19 from the free throw line. Romeo Langford paced the Hoosiers with 19 points on 6-of-18 shooting including 2-of-5 from 3-point range plus 5-of-6 at the free throw line. He added five rebounds and four assists. Aljami Durham tallied 14 points plus three boards and three assists. Justin Smith contributed 13 points, 10 rebounds, three blocked shots and two assists. De'Ron Davis accounted for 12 points plus six rebounds and four assists as a reserve. Devonte Green added 11 points, five rebounds and five assists off the bench.
College Basketball Betting Trends
The Hawkeyes are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall. Iowa is 5-12-1 ATS in its last 18 road games.
The Hoosiers are 1-5 ATS in their last six Big Ten games. Indiana is 3-7 ATS in its last 10 home games.
The Hoosiers might have snapped their losing streak, but they did get very lucky that Michigan State had a brutal night at the free throw line. This is still a struggling Indiana team in my opinion and the spread tonight seems slightly too far in favor of the worse team. Iowa wants to ensure it makes the NCAA Tournament and that requires winning the games it should win. Go with the dogs here.
