Trojans crushed by Buffaloes

USC lost by a count of 78-57 at home Saturday night to drop to 17-5 overall and 6-3 in Pac-12 Conference play. The Trojans were outscored 45-33 in the second half after trailing by nine at the break. Isaiah Mobley led USC with 12 points off the bench in 22 minutes of action on 5-of-8 shooting including 1-of-2 from 3-point distance plus 1-of-1 at the free throw line. Onyeka Okungwu contributed 11 points and 10 rebounds. Jonah Mathews added 11 points and three assists.

Wildcats crush Cougars

Arizona cruised to a 66-49 victory Saturday night at Washington State to improve to 15-6 overall and 5-3 in conference action. The Wildcats led 32-23 at halftime and continued to pull away after the break. Stone Gettings led Arizona with 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting including 2-of-3 from 3-point range plus 1-of-3 at the charity stripe. He also ripped down 12 rebounds. Nico Mannion registered 14 points, four boards, four assists and two steals. Zeke Nnaji added 10 points, 10 caroms and two blocked shots.

College Basketball Betting Trends

The Trojans are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games. Southern Cal is 5-2 ATS in its last seven games overall.

Washington State

The Wildcats are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. Arizona is 6-2 ATS in its last eight Thursday games.

The Wildcats have been inconsistent over the last couple months, but they only have one road loss all season and that was an 84-80 defeat against now second-ranked Gonzaga. Arizona is second in the conference in both adjusted offensive and defensive efficiency, while the Trojans struggle offensively and are coming off a brutal performance at home. I feel comfortable betting on the Wildcats to put together a convincing victory.
