Texas Longhorns DFS Spin
Timmy Allen had 18 points (7-10 FG, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one block across 35 minutes during Monday's 76-71 win over Baylor. Allen hit two important free throws to put up Texas up by four with just under one minute remaining and keep the Bears at arms length down the stretch. As a result, the starting forward totaled the Longhorns' second-most points behind sixth man Sir'Jabari Rice (21). Allen also finished right along his season average for rebounds (5.2) and assists (3.5). His production this season has not separated itself from his Texas teammates, but the 6-foot-6 senior does rank first on the team in rebounds, second in assists and now third in points per game (10.8). He's also averaged 8.6 field-goal attempts and 4.1 free-throw tries over the last 10 games, which has given Allen a solid fantasy floor in most outings.
Kansas State Wildcats DFS Spin
Keyontae Johnson logged 22 points (7-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT) and 12 rebounds in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 90-78 loss to Kansas. Johnson remained red hot on offense despite this frustrating performance for the Wildcats. The 6-foot-6 senior also matched his season high for rebounds -- all of which came on the defensive glass. Therefore, he was able to string together his fourth consecutive double-double, and he now has six such outings this season. Johnson will look to continue this prolific stretch Saturday against Texas.
