Tigers down Wildcats

Auburn secured a 75-66 home victory Saturday over Auburn to improve to 19-2 overall and 6-2 in Southeastern Conference action. The Tigers outscored the Wildcats 41-31 in the second half after trailing by one at the break. Samir Doughty led Auburn with 23 points on 4-of-10 shooting including 1-of-4 from 3-point range plus 14-of-15 at the free throw line. He also registered five rebounds. Isaac Okoro tallied 14 points, three boards, two assists and two steals. Austin Wiley tallied 12 points and 10 caroms. Danjel Purifoy added 11 points, three rebounds and two dimes.

Razorbacks get past Crimson Tide

Arkansas earned an 82-78 victory Saturday night at Alabama to move to 12-9 overall and 4-4 in conference play. The Razorbacks outscored the Crimson Tide 46-39 in the second half after trailing by three at the break. Mason Jones poured in 30 points to lead Arkansas on 10-of-20 shooting including 4-of-7 from 3-point distance plus 6-of-13 at the charity stripe. He also tallied five rebounds and two steals. College Basketball Betting Trends

The Tigers are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 road games. Auburn is 1-4 ATS in its last five games following an ATS win.

The Razorbacks are 5-1 ATS in their last six Tuesday games. Arkansas is 2-5 ATS in its last seven games following an ATS win.

These two squads are very fairly matched and it should be a great game. With Arkansas being at home and having a dynamite defense, I'm definitely leaning towards the hosts in this one. Auburn has lost two of its last three road games straight up and has certainly benefited from a fairly soft schedule to date that included a home-heavy schedule in the non-conference portion. I'd rather take the Razorbacks in what feels like less of a toss up and more like a game the hosts should be favored by a couple points.
