Creighton Player Spotlight

Ty-Shon Alexander had 24 points (5-15 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 10-11 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals in Sunday's 77-66 win over Xavier. Although Alexander was far from efficient from the field, converting on 10 of his 11 free throw attempts went a long way towards polishing up his stat line in Sunday's victory. Alexander continues to be one of the Big East's top scorers, with his 16.5 PPG currently the fourth-best mark in the conference. Alexander's next challenge comes Saturday when the Jays take on Villanova.

Villanova Player Spotlight

Saddiq Bey had 23 points (8-14 FG, 5-9 3pt, 2-2 FT) and five rebounds in Tuesday's 79-59 win against St. John's. Bey caught fire in Tuesday's game and that's kind of been the case the last couple weeks as he has 26 made threes in his last six games. That being the case, a lot of his numbers are based around three-pointers and it doesn't help that his rebound numbers are unpredictable. That said, he's grabbed 20 in the last three games, which has been a nice boost in addition to points.

The under is 11-2 in the Bluejays’ last 13 road games and 10-3 in their last 13 games as an underdog overall.

The under is 8-2 in the Wildcats’ last 10 games overall and has cashed in five of their last seven games when they’re favored.

The underdog has had some recent success in these matchups, covering in all four of the last four meetings between these two teams. Creighton is also 7-2 at the betting window in their last nine games coming off a straight up win and are 6-2 against the number in their last eight games played on Saturday. ‘Nova should stay unscathed at home but this number is slightly inflated and I like Creighton to stay within the number in the closing minutes to get the ATS win for bettors.
