Cardinals vs. Demon Deacons Prediction
The 15th-ranked Louisville Cardinals have won six of their seven Atlantic Coast Conference games, while the Wake Forest Demon Deacons have only one win in seven ACC games. Can host Wake Forest keep it close tonight as big underdogs?

Cardinals win fifth straight
Louisville secured a 66-51 home victory Saturday over Pittsburgh to improve to 15-5 overall and 6-1 in the ACC. The Cardinals outscored the Panthers 37-18 in the second half after trailing by four at halftime. Louisville shot 22-of-56 from the field, 8-of-23 from 3-point distance and 14-of-16 at the free throw line. Jordan Nwora paced Louisville with 17 points on 6-of-16 shooting including 2-of-6 from 3-point range plus 3-of-4 at the charity stripe. He also registered five rebounds and two assists. Steven Enoch added 11 points, 12 boards and two steals off the bench.
Demon Deacons fall to Eagles
Wake Forest lost its third straight game Saturday with a 65-61 home defeat versus Boston College to drop to 8-11 overall and 1-6 in the ACC. Jaylen Hoard was the lone Demon Deacons player who scored in double figures as he tallied 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting including 2-of-3 from 3-point range plus 2-of-2 at the free throw line. He also notched 10 rebounds and two assists. Wake Forest was outscored 34-26 in the second half of the loss. The Demon Deacons shot 25-of-56 from the floor, 5-of-23 on 3-point attempts and 6-of-6 at the free throw line.
College Basketball Betting Trends
The Cardinals are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games. Louisville is 4-1 ATS in its last five games versus the ACC.
The Demon Deacons are 4-1 ATS in their last five Wednesday games. Wake Forest is 4-9 ATS in its last 13 home games.
The Cardinals have been making a lot of strides defensively, which should continue tonight against a Demon Deacons defense with a poor offense. Wake Forest struggles even more defensively and the strength of Louisville's team this season is still on the offensive end of the floor. I think this spread could be a couple points wider considering the way these two squads are trending.
