Two Big 12 rivals meet up on the basketball floor tonight when Oklahoma hosts Oklahoma State at 9PM ET.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Oklahoma State is the slight favorite on the road, as the Cowboys are getting odds of -1.5 points against the Sooners. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 164.5 points. Oklahoma has won seven straight in this series, covering the spread in nine of the last 10 against Oklahoma State as well.

After a poor start to Big 12 play, Oklahoma State has now won three straight, including a 99-71 victory over Arkansas in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge this weekend. The Cowboys now sit 13-8 overall and 2-6 in the Big 12. They have also covered in their last three to get to 9-6-1 against the spread this season. Oklahoma State has a powerful offense that puts up 87.8 points per game while the defense allows 78.4 per contest. However, the offense drops down to just 76.1 points per game on the road. Jawun Evans averages 18.1 points and 5.5 assists per game to lead the team while Jeffrey Carroll adds 17.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest.

Oklahoma has lost three straight to fall to 8-12 on the season and 2-6 in the Big 12. Their latest loss was 84-52 at home to Florida this past weekend. Oklahoma doesn’t have a lot of reliable scoring options and Odomes is battling through an illness, so he won’t be 100 percent. Oklahoma State brings a lot of offense to Norman tonight and the Cowboys are playing with confidence on this three-game win streak. The Sooners looked like a mess this weekend I don’t think they can turn around their problems in 48 hours.
