Bears run win streak to 16
Baylor improved to 17-1 overall and 4-0 on the road Saturday night with a 72-61 victory at Florida despite being small underdogs going into the contest. The Bears led 40-29 at halftime on their way to the win. MaCio Teague led Baylor with 16 points on 5-of-12 shooting including 2-of-6 from 3-point distance plus 4-of-4 at the free throw line. Cyclones down Tigers
Iowa State fell 80-76 Saturday night at Auburn in the Big 12/SEC Challenge to drop to 9-10 overall and 0-5 on the road. The Cyclones trailed 42-31 at halftime and were unable to fully recover. College Basketball Betting Trends
The Bears is 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall. Baylor is 35-16-1 ATS in its last 52 road games.
The Cyclones are 0-5 ATS in their last five Wednesday games. The home team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings.
It still doesn't feel like the Bears are getting enough respect nationally as it seemed very surprising to see them as underdogs Saturday night and they blasted an unranked Florida squad. By the same token, tonight's game against the Cyclones feels like it could have a wider spread. Iowa State is much better at home usually, but it also lost by 26 on its home court to Kansas. Baylor gets after it on both ends and it's hard to not see it overwhelming a team in the midst of a disappointing season.
