Wolfpack score 100 in win

Nevada raced out to a 100-60 home victory Saturday over Colorado State to improve to 19-1 overall and 6-1 in conference action. The Wolfpack led by seven at halftime before outscoring the Rams 58-25 after the break. Nevada shot 37-of-66 from the floor, 13-of-28 from 3-point distance and 13-of-20 at the charity stripe. Jordan Caroline paced the Wolfpack with 26 points on 11-of-15 shooting including 4-of-5 from 3-point distance. He also notched seven rebounds and three assists. Cody Martin contributed 19 points, five assists, two boards and two steals. Caleb Martin had 18 points, four boards, two assists and two steals. Trey Porter tallied 13 points and three caroms. Tre'Shawn Thurman added 10 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals.

Rebels struggle at SDSU

UNLV suffered a 94-77 loss Saturday night at San Diego State to fall to 11-8 on the season and 5-2 in the conference. The Rebels trailed 46-35 at halftime and were unable to bounce back. Joel Ntambwe led UNLV with 19 points on 8-of-16 shooting including 3-of-6 from 3-point range. He also pulled down six rebounds. Amauri Hardy registered 18 points plus eight rebounds, six assists and three steals. Nick Blair added 13 points and five rebounds. The Rebels shot 29-of-65 from the floor, 13-of-30 from 3-point range and 6-of-14 at the charity stripe.

College Basketball Betting Trends

The favorite is 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings. The Wolfpack are 35-17-3 ATS in their last 55 games following an ATS win.

The Runnin' Rebels are 4-1 ATS in their last five Tuesday games. UNLV is 12-35-4 ATS in its last 51 Mountain West Conference games.

The Rebels struggle defensively and are facing a team that is very efficient on the offensive end, so the visitors should have no issues finding baskets here. Nevada is also sound defensively and are likely to continue to pad its lead and pull away gradually on the road. While the Wolfpack won't win by 40 again, I think they are in line to cover another spread.
