Butler earned an 89-85 home win in overtime Friday night over Marquette to improve to 16-4 overall and 4-3 in the Big East Conference. The Bulldogs outscored the Golden Eagles 36-32 in the second half and 18-14 in the extra session to post the victory. Kamar Baldwin paced Butler with 31 points on 10-of-25 shooting plus 11-of-13 from the free throw line. He also racked up eight rebounds, five assists and two blocked shots. Sean McDermott accounted for 16 points, nine boards and two steals. Henry Baddley added 10 points and three steals.

Mac McClung paced Georgetown with 19 points on 6-of-19 shooting plus 7-of-7 at the free throw line. He also recorded three rebounds and three steals. College Basketball Betting Trends

The Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS in their last five games as an underdog. Butler is 0-4 ATS in its last four games overall.

The Hoyas are 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games. The favorite is 5-0 in the last five meetings.

The Bulldogs have had some stumbles, but they have played a tough schedule and I like their chances here against a Georgetown team that has lost five of its seven Big East games. Butler prefers to slow down the tempo and the Hoyas would rather speed it up, but with the Bulldogs being the more efficient team I'm siding with them on this short spread.
