Bet on North Carolina vs. Miami
UNC has won seven straight coming into today, including a 91-72 win over Virginia Tech on Thursday. The Heels are now 19-3 overall and 7-1 in the ACC. During this win streak, UNC is 5-2 against the spread to put it 11-8-1 ATS on the season. UNC has one of the best offenses in the country, as the Heels put up 88.8 points per game while allowing just 71.3. On the road, the defense has suffered, allowing 79 points per game while putting up 80.8 on offense. Justin Jackson is leading UNC with 18.5 points and 5 rebounds per game while Kennedy Meeks is adding 13.1 points and 9.8 rebounds per contest.
Miami is coming off a 78-77 win at home over Boston College, but the Hurricanes are having a tough time in ACC play. The Canes are now 13-6 overall and 3-4 in the ACC. They have failed to cover in three straight and are just 4-13 against the spread for the season. Miami is a pretty good defensive team, allowing just 62.7 points per game this year. On offense, the Canes are putting up 72.6 per contest. Davon Reed averages 15.5 points per game to lead the team while Ja’Quan Newton is adding 15.1 points per game.

There isn’t much to like about Miami right now. The Canes rarely cover and they have been manhandled in the ACC by teams of any merit. Miami relies on its defense, but it will be hard to stop this UNC offense, which has so much talent. When Miami loses, it tends to lose big, so I think the Heels should be able to cover the spread on the road.
