After some early-season struggles, the 18th-ranked Villanova Wildcats have shrugged that off to reel off seven straight wins including six in Big East Conference play. Is Villanova going to keep up the winning ways at home today versus the Seton Hall Pirates?

Pirates drop third straight
Seton Hall suffered a third consecutive loss eight days ago with a 97-93 home defeat versus DePaul. The Pirates (12-7, 3-4 Big East) were outscored 49-44 in the second half of the loss. Seton Hall shot 32-of-59 from the floor, 13-of-24 from 3-point range and 16-of-24 from the free throw line. Quincy McKnight paced the Pirates with 25 points on 9-of-11 shooting including 2-of-3 from 3-point distance plus 5-of-9 at the free throw line. He also dished out nine assists. Myles Powell tallied 24 points along with six assists, three steals and two boards. Myles Cale scored 19 points in 24 minutes of action. Wildcats take down Butler
Villanova won for the seventh straight time Tuesday night with an 80-72 victory at Butler to improve to 15-4 on the season and 6-0 in the Big East. Eric Pazchall led the Wildcats with 23 points on 8-of-16 shooting including 5-of-10 from 3-point distance and 2-of-2 from the free throw line. He also pulled down five rebounds. College Basketball Betting Trends
Seton Hall
The Pirates are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 road games. Seton Hall is 1-4 ATS in its last five games versus the Big East.
Villanova
The Wildcats are 4-1 ATS in their last five games versus the Big East. Villanova is 44-21-1 ATS in its last 66 Sunday games.
Prediction:
The Wildcats have won their three home during their seven-game winning streak, but the most is by 10 and Seton Hall is actually better than any of the other three opponents at home. Seton Hall has dropped four of its last five, but have played poorly in really only one of those games although it probably should have won at least one other game during this rough stretch. I think the Pirates keep this one closer than the spread suggests as they have some fight in them, just can't seem to figure out how to close games out.
