Jamal Shead ended Sunday's 56-55 loss to Temple with 13 points (4-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal over 33 minutes. Shead struggled to get anything to drop in Sunday's upset loss. Though he shot the ball well from deep, Shead was only able to hit one of eight shots from inside the arc. In the two games prior to Sunday, Shead shot the ball extremely well, making over half of his attempts. Though he had a tough time scoring, Shead still finished as the Cougars leading scorer.

Ithiel Horton produced 15 points (5-12 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two assists and one steal over 34 minutes during Saturday's 85-72 loss to South Florida. After scoring just five points in his previous game, Horton bounced back with a solid performance Saturday. Though he did not shoot particularly well, Horton seems to have found his shot once again. Horton is averaging a career high 30.5 minutes per game as a regular starter for the Knights in his senior season.
